Direct billing is available for most Canadian Insurance providers. Other accepted forms of payment are cash, cheque, or e-transfer.

Please be advised that as of May 1, 2025 I will be making a small increase to my Registered Massage Therapy Fees to the following rates:

90 minutes: $152.38 + $7.62 GST = $160.00

75 minutes: $133.33 + $6.67 GST = $140.00

60 minutes: $114.29 + $5.71 GST = $120.00

45 minutes: $90.48 + $4.52 GST = $95.00

30 minutes: $66.67 + $3.33 GST = $70.00

Massage Therapy is the assessment and treatment of joints and soft tissues in the body including muscles, tendons, ligaments, and fascia. It consists of manual manipulation of the tissues to create change in the body, decrease muscle tension and pain, increase relaxation, and improve healing to injured muscles. It is an accepted and effective treatment for reducing stress, decreasing muscle pain and stiffness, and for aiding in rehabilitation and postural realignment. Treatments are patient-centered and may include a combination of the following techniques:
Swedish massage, deep tissue massage, myofascial release, joint mobilization, trigger point release, and education and home care prescription to support treatment goals.

Registered Massage Therapists (RMTs) in British Columbia are health care professionals that are dedicated to providing the best care to help patients achieve their optimal health and wellness.

Glynis Waring is a recent graduate of Vicars School of Massage Therapy and is a registered massage therapist in good standing with the College of Massage Therapists of BC. With her past experience at Mountain Trek and Aura Salon and Spa, she has had the opportunity to support a wide variety of individuals through massage treatments. Also a dance instructor with 15+ years of experience, and a certified Pilates mat instructor, Glynis is a lifelong mover and aims to create a balance between body and mind. Working closely with each individual, Glynis endeavours to support them in obtaining their health and wellness goals through a professional and patient-centered approach. She looks forward to assisting her patients on their healthcare journey and creating treatments to address their unique needs.
